Suitable options are compared based on your educational goals, current Japanese level, budget, preferred city, programme length and lifestyle expectations.
Long-term language schools in Japan usually have intakes in January, April, July and October. We recommend getting in touch at least six months before your planned start date to allow time for document and eligibility checks.
Requirements vary by school and programme. Some institutions accept beginner-level applicants, while others may ask for a specific educational background or a language certificate. Eligibility is assessed before you apply.
It covers a needs analysis, researching options against your budget and commuting criteria, an explanation of initial move-in costs, contract guidance, Japanese-language communication and a moving-in briefing.
The process usually begins with a needs consultation around two months before your departure for Japan. The exact timing is planned around your school, your COE and the type of accommodation.
Those with the appropriate student status may work up to 28 hours a week during term time once they have obtained the required work permission. Different limits may apply during official holiday periods; the current conditions should be checked separately.
The process starts as soon as you send us your request via the contact form or WhatsApp. In an initial consultation we identify your needs and explain the service steps that suit you.
Fees depend on the scope of the service requested, the school or programme chosen and any additional support needs. The scope and costs are shared clearly before the process begins.
